Election Stuff Dist. 10 House and Pioneer Irrigation Board

Next, is the issue of the Pioneer Irrigation Board of Directors election. THE GUARDIAN is finding the ongoing and seemingly endless litigation between the city of Caldwell and PID a flagrant waste of taxpayer dollars.
There is zero city representation on this board and now may be an opportunity to change this. City Finance Director, Eljay Waite, is running against a PID incumbent. In order to vote in this election you will have to go out to the PID offices on Lake Avenue just south of Caldwell Nampa Blvd. November 6th is the election date and now early voting in this election that we are aware of at this time.

A public discourse on the issues of the day makes the world a better place.
We welcome comments but they will be moderated and edited if too long or do not have anything to do with the post.
Agree or disagree just do it without profanity or it won't get posted. Try to keep your comments to no more than 300 words. Too long and I will try to edit it down or simply delete the comment. The whole idea is to get people to read your comment. Don't use 10 words when one will do the job.
It's OK to have a difference of opinion but keep it civil. I have used the "delete" feature on myself at times.
The ANONYMOUS feature for comments seems to be the most user friendly. People have commented they have difficulty with the other methods of posting comments.
Amazing, you miss the point that a senior member of the administration trying to take over a large portion of Pioneer by eminent domain, without precedent in the history of Idaho, is a candidate for the Board. With a conflict of interest of that magnitude, how could Pioneer patrons reasonably expect that he would make unbiased decisions in matters regarding the legal conflict or the issue of urban runoff...about which you have already blogged was improper action by the City? I had hoped for better given your history of fairness.
