  1. Wouldn't it be better for the schools to spell it out for us why they need the money. they can send a notice home with each school kid along with posting the information on the district website. the thougth of going to a meeting just hits me wrong. I appreciate information but don't make me go to a meeting to get informed. even a video on you tube would be a better use of time.

  2. The same reason a car dealer will do about anything to get you on the lot. It's easier to sell snake oil in person.

  3. This levy money allows school districts to spend the money on anything they want to spend it on. Likely it will all go to wage and benefit costs. I also see the legislature has increased the dole to schools, property taxes have increased to schools and yet they want more money. I would like for all of them to spell out just how much is enough. Until they lay that magic number on me I am voting NO!

A public discourse on the issues of the day makes the world a better place.

We welcome comments but they will be moderated and edited if too long or do not have anything to do with the post.
Agree or disagree just do it without profanity or it won't get posted. Try to keep your comments to no more than 300 words. Too long and I will try to edit it down or simply delete the comment. The whole idea is to get people to read your comment. Don't use 10 words when one will do the job.

It's OK to have a difference of opinion but keep it civil. I have used the "delete" feature on myself at times.

The ANONYMOUS feature for comments seems to be the most user friendly. People have commented they have difficulty with the other methods of posting comments.
